-I've been turning in clean copy for years and I know how to adapt my writing and reporting to a publication's specific needs, how to make deadlines and how to work with editors. I'm strong on AP style and a stickler for good grammar and usage. I also like to think I'm good at understanding the people I have to work with and doing what I can to make their jobs easier, be they line editors, copy editors, designers, or photographers, or anything else. And that's about as close to management-speak as I get, I promise.
-Computer stuff: I'm competent with Word, Excel, FileMaker, Quark Copy Desk, Quark XPress, Photoshop, HTML, various blog platforms.
